pvc and chainmail trials

after being suggested in my crit to look at other ways I could push my material exploration, I took on a suggestion to make chainmail out of pvs, But I neglected this quickly, and upon reflection , my interest in this material is the tactile nature it holds. The sounds and the temperature and the nature of the links. It almost reflects the nature of the concrete in its circular form, but instead of containing water, it contains people. Maybe what I am am referencing is a relationship between water and people. I think I also hold a personal association to the material as referencing a medieval land that might have been present in fairytales, which i thinks evokes the same feeling as entering a place under your feet with curiosity,
